Sandra is an advocate for anything that supports positive personal development within schools, workplaces, communities and for personal wellbeing to support a healthy, happy life.
She is a qualified teacher (BA Hons QTS) with many years of classroom experience and she then spent almost 10 years as a PSHEe/Healthy School School Improvement Adviser within a Local Authority. Over the years she has worked with children/young people, parents/carers. teachers and governors from a range of backgrounds and experiences. She has developed a range of education programmes and resources at local, regional and national levels.
Since 2010 Sandra has been running her own consultancy and training business in relation to Health & Wellbeing education (so all things PSHEe/Healthy School related) and has spoken at several national conferences in relation to PfBV (Promoting fundamental British Values) and SMSC (Spiritual Moral Social Cultural) curricula.
Sandra is also a national verifier for the Citizenship Foundation’s SMSC Quality Mark award and a national Adviser and Verifier for Optimus’ WAS (Wellbeing Award for Schools).
She is an experienced school Governor, a Trustee of the Stranton MAT, a mother to two teenagers, a member of the PSHE Association, a train-the-trainer for Quality Circle Time, a Laughter Yoga Teacher and a train-the-trainer for the FRIENDS programs.

Simon Richardson (LL.M, LL.B, RMN, RGN) has over 25 years experience in the health and education sectors. With experience in a variety of mental health settings, he has extensive experience in counselling and facilitating positive approaches to physical and mental health.
Simon is an energetic and accomplished public speaker on the subject of Emotional Health and Wellbeing. He is also a fully accredited Circle Time Trainer, Award winning Mental Health First Aid Trainer, Youth and HE Mental Health First Aid Trainer – Simon was also part of Mental Health First Aid England’s National Training for 5 years. Simon is also training as a Psychotherapist and runs a small private practice in Guisborough; he is also a qualified Meditation Instructor and Laughter Yoga Teacher.
Simon qualified as an RGN and RMN, and has worked in a variety of mental health settings, an Acute Mental Health (Adult) ward; Addiction’s Nurse; as Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) and as the Manager of a multi-agency Deliberate Self-harm Liaison Team before becoming a lecturer in Health and Social Care. Simon worked as Coordinator of the Drug Education Team working with approximately 300 schools across 4 local authorities. His first degree is in Law and he holds a Masters in Child Law.
Simon brings a wealth of experience to Golden Tree CIC from his work in the public, private and third sectors providing training on a range of well-being issues.
